I've had quite an enjoyable evening. After Dave left I watched the last episode of He-Man and another of my Hammer films (Frankenstein Must Be Destroyed). It was a bit less camp than the Dracula movies and a bit more dark and nasty. Had a rape scene which is never nice.

After that Jacqui and I watched Big Brother which was HILARIOUS. It's the last week now so Big Brother is just taking the piss now. First of all they made it seem like someone was going to get evicted today and then they locked Stuart in the Diary Room for over an hour. Best thing I've ever seen!

After that we watched Coyote Ugly because it was on tv before. I'd never seen it before and it was quite a fun film although I found the main character a bit annoying at times.

Fianlly we watched the last half of The Saint. I know I should hate this film. It's a really bad film but I have this problem, a Val Kilmer problem. I can't help that either. He was so great in Top Secret and Willow that I've had a thing for him ever since. I need help!

Those of you who know me will know that I am not a patient person. I have now been waiting a month for my broadband modem and it STILL isn't here. The first time I phoned them to chase it up they said there had been a cock up and that one hadn't been ordered for me. Then Jacqui phoned them again on Thursday and they said it had been posted on Wednesday and would be here on Friday. I still don't have a modem

If it's not here tomorrow I'm going to get VERY angry and demand compensation. This is bullshit!

In other news: I'm going away on Friday and have realised it's the Big Brother final that day. The girl I'm staying with doesn't watch it so I've sent her a text begging and pleading to let me watch it. I've been following it for SO long I have to see how it ends

Stupid site where I order train tickets won't let me do it because it doesn't recognise my postcode. Because our place is so new a lot of companies don't have our details on their system yet. This site won't even let me enter the postcode manually though. I'm going to have to walk to the station tomorrow and order them over the counter. GRRR!!!!

Tried a different Rail Ticket site and manage to get my stuff ordered. YAY! Wasn't looking forward to trekking all the way to the station when I can order tickets from the comfort of my own room

Jacqui and I shared a tub of Ben & Jerrys cookies and cream ice cream this afternoon. Yummy! We also watched some Friends. Old Friends back when it was funny.

Then I wrote a couple of drabbles and thought about starting the next chapter of Press-Ganged before deciding I wasn't in the mood. Ah well, it's the thought that counts, right?
