Watched Big Fish yesterday. I really enjoyed it but jazz_police found it a bit dull. It's certainly not one of Tim Burton's best films, but it's nowhere near the worst either (I never saw Planet of the Apes and I'm pretending it doesn't exist)

What did everyone else think of it?

Summery of my weekend

Friday evening: Watched the first 4 episodes of Alias Season 2 and thoroughly enjoyed them

Saturday: Spent the morning writing and felt very productive as a result. Helped Dave do his shopping in the afternoon and felt useful. Saw Big Fish and enjoyed it a lot. Cooked dinner, it was edible and felt pleased with myself. Watched 3 episodes of Babylon 5 and crashed not long after that

Sunday:- Slept VERY well. No noise from the neighbours. Showered and watched 1 episode of Babylon 5. Cooked lunch, it was edible and felt pleased with myself. Watched the last 2 episodes of Babylon 5 and enjoyed it a lot. Played lots of Morrowind and made some progress, felt pleased with myself. Made some LJ icons as requested by people.

All in all it's been a really nice and restful weekend :)

A small challenge...

Bollocks!

I've got a long weekend booked this weekend. Friday and the Monday. Now I've just found out Tom's girlfriend is coming up for the weekend to watch my his Alias DVDs.

Why does this always happen??? Last time I booked a weekend to myself off, Tom broke up with his girlfriend and spent the whole time mooching around the house feeling sorry for himself. What does it take to get some alone time????

There are now two options open to me. I stay here for the Friday and Monday and go back to my parents on Saturday and Sunday

or

I stay here the full time and have her being all quiet and miserable, complaining a lot and making me feel ill as Tom panders to her every whim.

Plus side to going to my parents is that it'll be peaceful, quiet and I won't have Bec there. Negative side is I'll have the hassle of travelling and I won't get as much PC time as I would here

Plus side of staying is that I will get all the PC time I need and I don't need to mess around travelling. Negative side is Bec will be here doing all of the things listed above

Tricky decision...what to do....
