Shit!

Just found out one of my old friends from school was killed in Iraq yesterday. We haven't been in touch for a while but god I feel awful

And when my mum phoned up and said she had bad news my first thought was that is was something about my holiday. I'm so fucking selfish.

Depressing

I've only been out of school for 5 years and so far 3 people in my year are dead.

Carly - Brain Tumour

Jonny - Suicide

Ben - Killed in Iraq

I had classes with all of these people at one time or another, and Ben especially I considered a friend. The fact that none of these people saw 25 scares and depresses me.

I'm going to go downstairs in a minute, have a drink and remember those who are no longer with us
