I'm sure I saw somewhere that there was a Buffy Challenge LJ community where you could post or accept Buffy fic challenges. Does anyone know what it's called. I figure I may as well see if anyone wants to take up any of the challenges on my site

I'm so impatient. I'm the sort of person that when a fic is done I HAVE to post it right away. So knowing my flashfic is done and knowing I can't post it until Wednesday is killing me. Hehe

On the plus side, being in the UK means it'll be Wednesday for me a lot sooner than it will be for you US types

Oh dear

Downloaded some GOTR tracks yesterday just to see what they were like. Um...well, at least James looks good, right?

I was trying to find a word to describe their music and the word Country sprang to mind. There is no excuse for country music even if a hottie like James is singing it.

Still, I suppose I have to respect him for using Spike's popularity to enable him to do something else he loves. But I think I'm fairly safe in saying they'd have gotten nowhere if it wasn't for BtVS

Amd as I've said to a few people, who cares what the music is like. I can just stand and oggle for a couple of hours. Hopefully I'll be able to take piccies but I doubt it

Photoshop

Can anyone give me some tips on using Photoshop to make LJ icons? I've used PSP up until now but it's decided to hate me all of a sudden. Have never used Photoshop before so any basic instructions would be very helpful

Oh dear (again)

Sad as I am I dug my suitcase out today and have started putting non essential stuff in it (ie stuff I've bought especially for the holiday).

Then I got talking to serendipitysho and she started warning me about the perils of Florida. These included

1. Torrential rains
2. Blazing heat
3. Ikky humidity
4. Plagues of mosquitos
5. Palmettos, which are 3-5 inch long cockroaches that fly.....

*whimper*

SARS aside does anyone want to give me a similar warning list about Toronto. I want to be as prepared as I can be.

Now I need to buy a whole stack of new clothes because NOTHING I have is going to be cool enough, I don't think :(

Help please

Can one of you PSP experts help me please. I'm suddenly having problems doing text outlining. Whenever I try and put some text on a plain background in order to do the expand selection thing, it immediately changes all of the text into the background colour. Any idea what I'm doing wrong. It used to work fine and then started doing this yesterday
