You'd think that getting crippling pain once a month would toughen me up a bit. But no, I'm still very much a whimp when it comes to pain.
As I stated on Sunday I got my ears re-peirced at the weekend. OW! It bloody hurts. My left ear in particular is rather sore and I cannot find a comfortable way to sleep without putting pressure on one or the other.
What makes it worse was when I took my earings out today to clean them and I put them back I was surprised that it didn't hurt. It was then that I realised that my old holes hadn't actually closed and I'd put my studs through those and not the new holes. This means I've inflicted more pain on myself for nothing. Bah
Still, I'm going to leave my studs in the new holes. That way I can wear two sets of earings at a later date
Anyway, I'm going to make more icons and be whimpy elsewhere

Just been chatting to one of my best friends from school and she's offered to let me stay with her both before and after my flight, saving me the cost of a hotel. LOADS of love to you Helen if you're reading this.
While I'm at it, Helen is currently working on an article about alienation. In particular on a practise (mainly among women) to cut a particular person out by ignoring them etc. If you've been a victim or even someone dealing this out then please e mail Helen with your story.
