*Waves tiredly*

Why is it that doing nothing leaves you feeling exhausted? I went away this weekend to visit a friend I was at uni with. We had all these plans to go shopping, clubbing etc but when I arrives she'd come down with tonsilitis and we spent most of the weekend just lounging around the house. We had one excursion to Norwich which left her exhausted but other than that we just watched a lot of TV. DID see Die Another Day finally which was cool

But anyway, I think the tiredness must be catching (tonsilitis isn't apparently) because despite not doing much this weekend I'm knackered.

Well, time to wade through my masses of e mails and fanfics before I unpack and do menial things like tidy my room

I'm fairly sure I'm the only one who enjoyed Mansfield Park. I mean, I love all of Austen's novels but I think for me Mansfield Park comes third after Emma and Pride and Prejudice. Sense and Sensibility is ok, but I have issues with Austen's treatment of Marianne. Northanger Abbey is humourous but I have trouble relating to the main character and Persuasion just irritates me. Anne is just too wet for my liking

Where does femininity come from?

Over the last few weeks a few people (including my own mother) have commented on the fact that I'm 'turning into a girl'. Alas, it's true. I'm not saying I was a total tomboy before, I liked wearing skirts and all but they were all long gothy ones. Lately I've found myself becoming increasingly interested in nice make up (as opposed to just black eyeshadow and purple lipstick), pretty shoes (as opposed to chunky boots) and pretty jewellry (as opposed to plain silver crosses etc)

Not really sure when or why this transformation began but the day I buy something pink will be the day I end my own life. At the moment I'm managing to stick loosely to my trademark colours of black, red and purple but if things keep going the way they are I might end up becoming a barbie girl.

Got my ears pierced for the third time this weekend. Have to leave my studs in for 6 weeks and then the world is my oyster. MUST stay away from cute sparkly things
