(no subject)

Well, despite all my complaints about my job it does occasionally have its perks. Today when I got to work I was sat at my desk feeling generally fed up. There was only 2 people in my office and I just got so fed up, especially since it was nice and sunny outside. In the end I went in to see my boss and asked if I could use some of my holiday time to take the afternoon off. He said yes without even thinking about it

Finished at 12:30, had lunch with Tyson and then came home. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have been able to do that in any other job.

Tyson seems to be doing a bit better today. He broke down again last night when he decided to relax and watch Buffy, only to find out that the episode showing was Entropy. Not the best one to watch given his current situation.

Still, he seems to be coming to terms with the fact that his marriage is over. The next few months are going to be hard but he's already found a place to live. I think he's going to be ok.

Kill me now

I was just doing some caps from Doomed and all of a sudden I found myself liking Riley. I mean in the earlier episodes he wasn't too bad, right. Or is it just me? Maybe Wood is making me turn into some sort of freak.

I do remember liking Riley for a brief moment when I first saw Season 4. It was just that one scene where he punches Parker.

Ah well, I need my head examining.

Also found out last night that Tom's girlfriend is arriving tonight and is staying with us until the end of next weekend. Nice of him to give me plenty of warning. I forsee staying in my room for the majority of the time. It's not that I dislike her per se, she's just a bit odd and has this penchance for cleaning ALL the time. Even when it's not her house. It just irritates me.

Anyway, I made productive use of my afternoon by making a few icons. The first one was requested by flickums so don't blame me!

1. How many houses/apartments have you lived in throughout your life? Too many to count. The pain of being a forces kid. I'd say maybe about 8 that I can remember

2. Which was your favorite and why? The one I'm in at the moment actually. I've had the most fun here

3. Do you find moving house more exciting or stressful? Why? Personally I like it, it's like a fresh start.
