General stuff

Colour me selfish but all I have to say about the impending war at the moment is that it had better not interfere with my holiday. I've been plannind this and saving my money for about eight months. Damn Bush!

Still, it is pretty scary...hopefully it'll be over quickly

Other news: I'm applying for a new job. Been a while since I did this so I need to brush up my CV first. Deadline is Friday so I better be quick. Luckily I can e mail it to them (it's a publishing company in London) so hopefully I'll be ok.

Not really optimistic though. The last time I applied for a job like this the salary was so low there was no way I'd have been able to live on it. We'll see I guess.

I appear to have misplaced the disk with my CV (or resume if you're in the US) on. Anyone know where I can get a good template to use. Bugger, I can't believe I'm going to have to start from scratch.

Millions of thanks to padfoot_uk for sending me her very spiffy CV. Got about half of it done so far so hopefully by tomorrow I'll be ready to draft my covering letter and then get it sent.
