I feel crappy. I'm cold, my throat hurts and I've got a headache. Am sat here wrapped up in my coat and scarf. Should really be cleaning, writing or doing something productive. Why do I always get ill in MY free time.

Anyway, anger and irritation aside here's a meme that I nicked from [livejournal.com profile] kimberly_a

Well, I finally saw the last episode of series 1 of Alias last night. I'll cut just in case

Grr Argh! )

Plus I've been ploughing through the West Wing and I've just found out that Season 2 isn't out on DVD yet. WHY are these TV people torturing me so? Do they not realise how long it's taken me to get into a show that ISN'T Buffy or Angel??

Still, at least we're pretty much covered with the Farscape situation. As far as I know it's all out on DVD so catching up isn't an issue.

And finally...

Buffy Wildfeed thoughts )

And yes I am aware that waffling on about all this tv makes me sound like a total nerd. Sorry

Got this one from [livejournal.com profile] matty_moos

Most memorable:
I guess my Fluffy Files. It's my mammoth project but overall it's been fun

Least memorable:
My first one. Unexpected

Your favorite:
Probably Be Careful What You Wish For. I put a lot of effort into it. Still not sure it's my best but it's my fave.

Your least favorite:
Again Unexpected. I think most people out there hate their first fics.

Your most successful (in terms of reviews):
Well, my Fluffy Files but that's just because it's the longest. Although I think Fluffy Seeing Red is still my most reviewed peice.

Your biggest bomb (in terms of reviews):
Um...Who Am I? But then it's only very short.

Your biggest surprise hit:
Everything Is Under Control. I thought it sucked and then it won an award.

Your biggest surprise bomb:
Better Than No Love. I thought it was hysterically funny but people weren't keen on the Xander/Andrew and Willow/Warren thing.

The theme of your fics:

I'm not sure any of them have theme's really. Most of them are just entertaining stories with a bit of character growth thrown in

You As A Writer:

Best moment in your writing career:
When I 'fixed' Seeing Red. That's probably the only story that required barely no editing when it was done.

Worst moment in your writing career:
Flames are always bad. I remember when this one girl posted a report on her site where she took each of my fics and explained why she felt they were so bad

Easiest fic to write:
Nothing's ever easy but Fluffy Seeing Red seemed to go pretty well.

Hardest fic to write:
Um...I had to write Fluffy Gift about three times, just because it kept turning into a cliche. In fact I think it still is really.

How long have you had a ff.net account:
2 years and 2 months

How long do you plan to have a ff.net account:
I'll always keep my account, but the fic writing will probably stop when Buffy does in a few months

How did you find ff.net:
From [livejournal.com profile] flickums

The Future:

Planning on starting a new series?:
Nope!

Planning on writing a sequel?:
Nope!

Plan on co-writing anything?:
Depends if someone asks. Although I think me and [livejournal.com profile] richess are due to do one final co-write before it all ends.

What genre would you like to work more in?:
I need to write more angst. Trouble is I'm not really any good at it. I like my stuff to be happy. Same with dark fics. Can't do it. Although [livejournal.com profile] isabellecs is trying to teach me.

CLOSING:

What was the absolute pinnacle (as of today) of your writing career:
My site winning a Spiked Award. I was up against some of the best Buffy sites out there and I nearly fell of my chair with shock when I won. I didn't even nominate myself (I never do)

What was the absolute worst event in your writing career:
Writer's block. It's evil. And the less said about me losing Fluffy Wish the better.

What are you most thankful for in your writing:
[livejournal.com profile] peachus. I love her and I want to have her babies. Oh, and of course the actors in the show. Without them I would never have started writing.
