Bah!

All week I look forward to my weekends and the knowledge that I can sleep lots. It's what keeps me going.

So this morning I was not best pleased when my neighbour started listening to what sounded like the Sex Pistols at 8am. NOT amused! Now, I like a pit of punk as much as the next person, but not at that time of the day on MY weekend.

THEN my neighbour on the other side decided that 9am was a perfectly acceptable time to start drilling. NO! WRONG!

On the plus side I suppose it got me up early so I have the whole day to do stuff. Hopefully I'll be able to sleep tomorrow

RAGE!!

Just had a coversation with an enraged Rob (I love it when he's angry. Heh). Anyway, meant to post this earlier but got waylaid.

Now, some of you will remember a post I did in December ranting about my father and how whenever I see him he rubs in my face all the cool stuff he's got that I can't possibly afford. Today, however, he didn't say anything (apart from one small reference to the fact that he has two widescreen televisons)

What I did get was this

Dad: Why don't you come home next weekend
Me: I can't, Rob's coming up.
Dad: He's coming all that way just to see you? That's a bit of a distance!

I stood and stared at him in disbelief for a moment before asking if the fact that my boyfriend wants to visit me was such a shock. He then backtracked and said that he meant it in a nice way.

Uh-huh. He's evil
