1) You, Legolas, alone in one room. What do you do?
Um..just stand and stare probably

2) You, Arwen, alone in one room. What do you do?
Tell her to give up on Aragorn

3) We sadly lost 3 when he fell into....ummm...ok, we just lost him.
Um...eh?

4) What gift would you ask of the Elves?
Wisodom

5) What race would you most like to be?
Hobbit. Due to size mostly. But want to be an elf!

6) Honestly...would you keep it secret, and safe?
Probably not. I'm crap at keeping secrets

7) If you would keep it secret and safe, would you be the Ring-bearer, or would you swear to protect the Ring-bearer?
I'd protect the ring bearer. I think its burden would be too much for me

8) Ok, you are the Ring-bearer, who makes up the Fellowship with you (of your friends) and if they're enough like a character, say who they'd be:
Hmm....[livejournal.com profile] mrthursday for he is wise and fairly nifty with a sword, [livejournal.com profile] padfoot_uk and [livejournal.com profile] ballistichimp for their weaponry and [livejournal.com profile] flickums to be my Samwise

9) Ok, you're not the Ring-bearer (but you are in the Fellowship like above), who of your friends would be the Ring-bearer?
Um...[livejournal.com profile] padfoot_uk with [livejournal.com profile] ballistichimp as Sam

10) Are you evil? Evil enough to become a tool of Sauron?
I don't think so. Oh, and [livejournal.com profile] flickums is SO not. Can I just say GTA

11) If you had to be one of the nasty/evil creatures (i.e. the Balrog, the Cave Troll, an orc, Ring Wraith, etc)
Ring Wraith. They're cool in a scary way. Shire....Baggins.....

12) If you didn't know the Ring was The One Ring, but you knew it made you disappear and such, what would you do with it?
Spy on people. Heh. I'm evil.

13) Pippin and Merry - are they really okay guys, or just big nuisances?
They're really okay guys.

14) Who kicks the most ass: Gandalf, Legolas, Strider, or Gimli?
Gandalf.

15) Would you rather be an Archer, Wizard, or Ranger?
Wizard

16) Who's your favorite character?
Aragorn....no....Legolas.....ARGH!

What the hell happened to Question 17???

18) If, for some odd reason, Aragorn and Legolas were to get in a fight, who do you think would win (and why)?
Aragorn.

19) Do you think the race of men is weak?
Good lord yes.

20) Does it make you sad to know the Elves are leaving these shores?
Aye. :(

21) React to this: Frodo lives!
He does indeed!

22) If you've read the book and seen the movie, did you like both, or do you think one was better than the other?
I like both, although it's been many years since I read the books

23) Do you think the movie was an insult to Tolkien's genius?
No!

24) Any problem with the cast?
Sean Bean's accent

25) Honestly...do you think Liv Tyler did a good job as Arwen, or are you glad she's in the movie just because she's hot?
Didn't bother me at all

26) What do you think of the choice to cut Tom Bombadil?
Necessary to stop the fil dragging and being about 20 hours long

27) Was the Balrog all you had hoped for?
Yup!

28) Any other changes from the book to the movie that irritate you?
Nope. I'm a happy Hils

29) How about that special-edition DVD, pretty cool, or no?
VERY cool!

30) Lastly, what was your favorite bit of the movie?
Battle at Helm's Deep. But that's only if I HAVE to choose. I love it all

Had a rather ikky dream last night and since it's stayed with me all day I thought I'd post.

It started off with me in a pub here in York with a few friends. We were just sat around talking when one of them said something really hurtful that upset me a lot. I can't remember what it was but I started crying and ran out of the pub. Found myself outside in the dark and as I ran I realised I was actually VERy drunk. So drunk that I ran over to a nearby bin and puked in it. The next thing I know this old and rather fat man is talking to me and asking me if I'm alright. I say yes but he insists that he help me home. Before I could object he started touching me. Not in a really perverted way, but enough to gross me out. I ran and was still running when I woke up (literally gasping for breath)

The moral of this dream. Don't get drunk? Don't talk to strange men? Don't go out alone at night? Don't have friends? All of the above?

I had an idea today. It's one I've had for a while but now it's a full on plan. Crazy, yes. But it should be fun

Ok, Season 6 of Buffy is out on DVD in a couple of months so I'm guessing Season 7 will be out towards the end of the year. My plan? Sometime at the start of 2004 I'm going to take a couple of weeks off work and watch EVERY single episode of Buffy, pausing only to prepare food and possibly sleep. It'll be great, watching it all in one big go. I've calculated that if we watch about 10 episodes a day (they're only 45 mins without all the ads and credits) it'll take about two weeks.

Naturally any fellow loons who wish to join me are welcome. Of course I haven't mentioned this to Tom yet but then who knows if I'll still be living with him this time next year.

Anyway, that's my crazy plan. I'll go and have myself institutionalised now.

Have just befriended [livejournal.com profile] buffy_anne and [livejournal.com profile] soulvamp. Debated adding the whole cast but then realised that would probably swamp me.

So I have my two faves and [livejournal.com profile] thefirstevil for funnies
