MERRY CHRISTMAS

Managed to quickly sneak on for five minutes whilst Mum prepares the turkey so I just want to with everyone a very Merry Christmas!

I'm doing well with the computer use today. Probably because everyone else is either asleep or watching TV. Got lots of goodies and ate WAY too much.

Highlights include a sparkly new camera that does EVERYTHING (ready for America. No good seeing James Marsters if I can't take lots of pretty pics). Also got lots of chocs, a couple of DVDs and the tradtitonal socks.

Right, must go watch TV. Will post a piccy of my bear factory cat, Crookshanks later :)

Stuff

Since flickums has posted a breakdown of some of the stuff she got for Crimbo I feel obliged to do the same. Obviously not everything will be mentioned or I'd be here all day.

Ok, flickums got me the soundtrack from Spaced (which I didn't even know you could get but is VERY cool) and Willow on DVD. Very cool.

Have already mentioned the amazing camera. That was from Mum-Ra and Dad-Ra.

serendipitysho got me a lovely dream catcher and mini dream interpretation book.

sianwinters got me the Once More With Feeling script book, a beautiful necklace and a HUGE chocolate coin (which I have already eaten)

kittygoth got me Coraline by Neil Gaiman. Have heard good things about this and am looking forward to reading it when I've finished Smoke and Mirrors

Also got LotR on DVD (which wasn't really a surprise now was it mrthursday. I'm just kidding)

Tom got me the soundtrack for TTT, which I will listen to AFTER I've seen the movie.

And on the cute scale I got this lovely toy cat from The Bear Factory. He came wearing a wizard's costume and I got a santa suit with him too. He's called Crookshanks (after Hermione's cat in the third Harry Potter book. Apparently I'm like her). Am looking forward to getting some new clothes for him. Will have to convince someone to take me to Meadowhall.

Well, that's the main stuff. I'm not going to watch Apocalypse Now with flickums. Yes, I finally caved

Apocalypse Now is fucked up!

That is all I have to say on the subject.

On the plus side was amused this evening when Fin rang me and inhaled helium down the phone at me. There's nothing like the sound of a drunk, 6 foot scottsman with a munchkin voice to make your Christmas.
