FAIRY TALE

Once upon a time there has a young COUNCELLOR named SPIKE. He was SUDDENLY SLEEPING in the FRAGILE forest when he met BIG XANDER, a run-away VAMPIRE SLAYER from the PRETTY Queen DAWN.

SPIKE could see that BIG XANDER was hungry so he reached into his JAR and give him his SMALL PIZZA. BIG XANDER was thankful for SPIKE's PIZZA, so he told SPIKE a very WEIRD story about Queen DAWN's daughter BUFFY. How her mother, the PRETTY Queen DAWN, kept her locked away in a WAREHOUSE protected by a gigantic CAT, because BUFFY was so SMELLY.

SPIKE SLEPT. He vowed to BIG XANDER the VAMPIRE SLAYER that he would save the SMELLY BUFFY. He would SNIFFING the CAT, and take BUFFY far away from her eveil mother, the PRETTY Queen DAWN, and CRYING her.

Then, all of the sudden, there was a UGLY EARTHQUAKE and BIG XANDER the VAMPIRE SLAYER began to laugh. With a puff of smoke he turned into the gigantic CAT from his story. PRETTY Queen DAWN WHISTLED out from behind a TABLE and struck SPIKE dead. In the far off WAREHOUSE you could hear a CRY.

THE END.

1. A book you wish you'd written.

God, pretty much every book I've read. There are so many talented authors out there, all of whom I'd love to be able to write like. Hmm....I guess if I had to choose a specific book....I guess Guilty Pleasures by Laurell K. Hamilton. That's the sort of stuff I can imagine myself writing if I was any good.

2. An author you respect, and why.

I respect all authors. Anyone who's managed to get themselved published is good in my books.

3. A book you love even though you think it's kind of trashy.

Well, I love the Terry Brooks Shannara series. They're your stereostypical fantasy novel but they hold a dear place in my heart.

4. A book that's had a real impact on your life. Describe.

I tend to find myself more heavily influenced by people rather than books. I'm sure certain books have influenced me but I can't think of any examples

5. The book that you most often find yourself recommending to people.

Ack! There's loads. Um....The Eyre Affair by Jasper Fforde. Very cleverly written. Go read it!

Hmm....looking at this I see I have pretty feeble taste in books. I need to start reading less vampirey things and expand my book collection

Have decided to have a bash at this challenge which I found at Crumbling Walls

I want a Spike as a pirate fic. Here's the plot. Buffy Summers is the daughter of a wealthy shipping magnate, that deals with the Carribean (Or wherever you decide, obviously outside of America) She stows away on one of her father's ships to escape an arranged marriage. The ship encounters Spike's and he ofcourse, commandeers the cargo, and one Buffy Summers. Wacky hijinks ensue.

Requirements

-spike still has to be blonde. He's in the sun alot, so there's your excuse
-Come up with something good for the reason he has the scar. fight, woman, etc.
-Want Buffy to be strong willed, and fighting him at every turn.
-He wants to use her to get ransom. She wants to get away from her father, they strike up a deal
-Hard R, or NC-17 (this is a romance novel I'm asking for, make it steamy.)
-Druscilla would be the crazy ex (duh) Have her go after Buffy at one point.
-At some point, they land on a tropical island.
-Xander must be first mate.
-want a sword fight with her betrothed. Spike wins of course, and they sail off into the sunset. (okay, don't have to make it that cheesy, but you get my meaning. if not, pm me.)
-Intergrate the casts believably. But keep them close to who they are.

Been toying with the idea of a pirate story for ages and this is my chance. Of course I'll need to research so I wandered off to Google. Almost right away I found a site with pretty much all the info I'll need. YAY!
