Oct. 24th, 2002 07:56 pmJust want to say again that I love my Once More With Feeling CD. Not only has it got all the songs from the musical on it, but it's also got my three favourite score pieces on it Restless, Hush and The Gift
I love Hush in particulary, reminds me a lot of Danny Elfman's score for Sleepy Hollow which I also love
It's weird, as an episode The Gift has never really made me cry. I got a bit teary when Buffy said she missed her mom and when Spike told her she treated him like a man. Buffy's actual death didn't really do anything for me though. But when I hear the music on this CD I tear up every time. I just keep seeing Spike huddled on the floor sobbing at his failure. *sniffle* It's so sad
Oh, and for the record I still maintain my initial thoughts that they should have ended the show with Buffy's death. The musical was really the only endearing feature of Season 6 (not even the initial Spuffy love could save it)
And Season 7 bites!
