Normally things are pretty content in our house and I've had nothing to complain about until now.
It's bloody freezing so I casually suggested we put the heating on. Tom looked at me in horror and muttered something about it putting the bill up.
In the end I got him to agree to have it on a timer. We get an hour in the morning (barely time for the radiators to warm up in my opinion) and two hours in the evening.
Am contemplating sneaking into his room while he's away this weekend and fiddling with it so that we have a bit more heat.
