An all round good day today.

FINALLY got my pay sorted out at work and they've agreed to pay me what I asked for. It took a lot of hard work and arguing but it goes to show that stubborness pays off

I've also just booked my hotel in Florida for the Buffy convention. It's times like this that I realise how much I truly love my online friends. I was having problems booking online as the people going to the convention are supposed to get a discount and I couldn't figure out how to do it. In the end a girl I was IMing with rang the hotel for me and asked them what to do. Then when I was done she rang them again to make sure it was right. It was so nice, and I've never even met her.

So, all I need now is to book my flight which I probably won't do until after Christmas and that's it. WOO HOO

Woah!

I've just been looking at my account at www.fanfiction.net and have been stunned by just how much I've written since I started writing fanfic in Dec 2000.

I've got 19 stories, which at a first glance doesn't seem much. But then I took into account that one of those stories is my Fluffy Files which has 27 chapters, each of which are individual stories, and will soon have 28 as I aim to get another one does this weekend.

So in the last 20 months I have written something in the proximity of 45 stories. Is it me or does that seem like a lot? I don't tend to write short stories so I would guess that even the shortest one is 8-10 pages long. I dunno, it just amazed me really. Especially when prior to setting up my website I hadn't written anything since I was about 16
