I just realised this morning how lucky I am to have the amazing friends that I do, so to celebrate and acknowledge them I'm going to tell them all just why I love them so much. So here we go. I realise some of them will never read this but it's the thought that counts, right?

[livejournal.com profile] finzilla - Sometimes I forget that I've only known Fin about a year. We get on so well and some of my happiest weekends have been spent going out drinking with him and then curling up in front of the TV together. He always wants me to make the most of my life and I can rely on him to keep nagging me to do some serious writing. It might not seem like I'm listening but I do appreciate that he has enough faith in my writing abilities to even bother.

[livejournal.com profile] flickums - Aside from being the bestest sister ever I also consider Flick to be a great friend. She always takes an interest in what I'm doing, even if it's something which doesn't appeal to her. She's always the voice of reason when I lose my temper and does her best to stop me from doing anything rash. She has taken it upon herself (along with Fin and Tom) to educate me in the way of films, tv shows and pretty much everything else. She also takes care of me when I've had too much to drink (as well as laughing at my slurred speech). She's the best!

[livejournal.com profile] padfoot_uk - I can't remember a time when I've been out with Sarah and not had fun. She's one of the most bubbley and vivascious people I've met and I always feel totally relaxed around her. She's always really enthusiastic about everything we do and she's always willing to listen and offer advice when there's a problem.

[livejournal.com profile] kittygoth - I can categorically say that if I hadn't met Laura then I would have gone insane at work and hurled myself out of a window. She introduced me to a whole new world of gothic literature and I can't imagine never having read the amazing works of Poppy Z Brite. It was so great to find someone to share my obsession with vampires with and to top it all off she's a writer herself so she understands the way I think. She's also responsible for the majority of Nu Metal music in my CD collection. Finally felt like I met a kindred spirit with her. And now she's miles away *sob* Thank god for the internet and the telephone.

Tyson - This man has a heart of gold. He always puts 110% of himself into whatever he's working on and you can literally see the enthusiasm shining in his eyes. He was one of the first people I met when I started my job and in my first week he showed me some of the poetry he'd written, saying he felt able to share with a fellow writer. I nearly made him cry when I told him I liked it. He was the first real-life person I told about my writing and he was so encouraging that I felt able to tell other people and not be embarasssed about it. He's had a really positive influence on my life and I can't imagine what it would be like if I'd never met him.

Tom - Never would have guessed when I first met Tom that I'd end up sharing a house with him. I can't really think of another way to describe him othr than 'unique', but he's a top bloke and despite all his bravado he's got a kind heart. He is one of the trio of people that have decided that I know nothing of the world and that I need educating. Whenever I have a question about a film, tv show or anything really he's my first port of call for the answer. If he doesn't know he'll refer me to Fin or Flick. We've spent many hours of fun on the playstation and despite all his criticisms about my Final Fantasy playing I can still kick his ass at DOA 2.

Now for my online friends who I love just as much :)

Shoshanna - One of my fave fanfic authors and a fantasic friend. We both started writing at about the same time so it's been cool to watch each other develop out stories and websites. Haven't really been chatting with her for long but it soon became clear that there is some sort of psychic link between us. We always seem to know what the otheris thinking, we have the same ideas and we love the same character pairings. We're always helping each other out with our fics and supporting each other when the going gets tough. We also tease each other a lot....ok, it's mainly me teasing her....but I swear she likes it, honest.

Isabelle - Another one of my fave authors who has also been writing about as long as I have. I can honestly say that I have never met anoyone as passionate and enthusiastic about the Buffy/Spike pairing as Isabelle. Not matter what happens on the show she's always positive and ready to chat to those who are having doubts. Many times she has given me pep-talks when I've been doubting my ability as a writer or finding myself moving away from the B/S ship. If it wasn't for her I'd have probably quit a long time ago.

Becca - Becca was one of the first people to actively e mail me about my website and tell me how much she likes it. She's always been very encouraging and it's really helped when I've wondered whether people even visited it. Then last new year's eve when we'd both had a bit to drink we got chatting about some of my stories. I can't actually remember how it came about but I ended up asking her to be my beta reader. This is a decision I have never regretted once. She is so attentive to detail and when there's something I'm not happy with she's always there to make suggestions, most of which are exactly what I needed. She's always there to help me if I'm struggling with ideas and she's helped turn some of my mediocre fics into something halfway decent.

Richess - Pretty much my first online friend. On a whim she e mailed me asking me to help her out with a fic and we've never looked back. Some of my best stories have been collaborations with her. She has some amazing ideas and our writing styles just seem to blend together so well. She's also one of the kindest and most generous people I know, taping all of Season 6 of Buffy and Season 3 of Angel for me. She's sent me a few little presents, including so many Jelly Beans that I made myself sick. LOL.

Kristin - Met her through Richess and she soon became on of a collective group known as the Hunnies. We used to spend pretty much all weekend chatting together and she helped me out a lot when I was first starting my Fluffy Files series. We've also done a couple of fics together (including one we wrote with Fin. WE haven't forgotten it Finnywoos). Can't remember how it happened but Kris became my cyber wife about 6 months ago. She had a brief fling with Fin who admired her bendyness but now she's back with me. YAY!!

Py - The last of the Hunnies. Met her after reading some of her fics. We've also written a fic together. Py is a top laugh, always ready to have a giggle at pretty much anything. Alas it has been to long since the Hunnies have been online together :(

So there we go, a brief intro to all my friends who I love dearly and would be lost without. I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!
