Ick

I shouldn't have gloated to finzilla about the crisps and dip I was eating earlier. Now feel VERY sick. I can just imagine it, I spend the first day of my new job with my head down the toilet

Urgh!

Was up until 2am last night with my poorly tummy and then had to get up at 6 for work. This means I spent the first day of my new job running on 4 hours sleep. I'd better get an early night tonight or I'm going to collapse tomorrow. And this stifling heat isn't going to make sleeping any easier.

First day was ok. Everyone was treating me like a total newbie rather than someone who has just moved down from the other end of the building. Was quite patronising but I suppose they were just trying to make me feel welcome. Am spending this week covering someone else's desk (which means more money. WHEEE!) But I'm getting swamped with work. Hopefully it'll settle down soon.

On the plus side, I posted my fanfic last night and I've had a lot of positive feedback from people. YAY!

OH!

I finished the first Anita Blake book today. If you like Buffy then go read it, it's excellent. I've bought the second one and will start reading it tomorrow
