Plumber came at 8:30am but I suppose I shouln't complain. At least he showed up when he said he was going to and we now have a working washing machine so I can do laundry.

Misha tweeted while I was asleep. All is right with the world again.

Hah!

I'm doing icons of the SV ep 'Covenant' and I was staring at the girl playing Kara and thinking 'You know, she looks a bit like Jess from SPN'

Yeah, it was her.

And the scary thing is that three months ago I would probably never have even recognised her.

I tell you what spnland has done amazing things for my knowledge of the show just from all the research and stuff I've had to do for the challenges

So not only did Adrianne Palicki get to kiss and sleep with Jared in SPN she also got to kiss Tom Welling in SV

It's funny but for a while I thought Adrianne and Jared were related because I thought her last name was Padalecki. Well, it's close!

I really do think that SV went massively downhill after S3 which is why it's the cutoff point for old_school_clex. Covenant is a really good episode and really it can be seen as closure for the series if you think about it

1. Clark gets sucked into the cave wall where he could easily come out as Superman in a few years time
2. Lana goes to Paris and could quite easily have just stayed there
3. Chloe gets blown up which explains her absence in the comics (I don't care what people say YOU SEE HER GET ENGULFED BY FLAMES IN THIS EPISODE. SV really is king of retcon)
4. Lex obviously survives being poisoned but the attempt on his life coupled with the end of his friendship with Clark pushes him to being the villain we see in the comics
