Wow! You know I have never really had much of an opinion of Allion Mack as an actress but she totally blew me away in this episode! And am I wrong for thinking Braniac!Chloe was quite hot!

I loved all the Superman stuff in this episode, the little fanboy guy in particular. Hee!!!

And it was interesting that they posed the question of Chloe's place in history. We've all been thinking it. LOL! And I love that they've heard of 'even Jimmy Olsen' LOL. Poor Jimmy. I was sad they didn't mention Lex though. EVERYONE has heard of Lex Luthor.

What I did not care for was the Lana fangirling but I'm sure that's just my residual rage from the last seven seasons. LOL! Lana didn't do anything particularly hateful in this one.

DOOMSDAY!!! Argh! See, I know this season is going to end with The Death of Superman. Ok, I don't know but I can hazard a guess. But at the same time the Legion know who Clark is, which means we already know he won't stay dead, so doesn't that render the whole thing pointless?

But, yes, awesome episode. I loved it!

No, it isn't wrong. She was hot. But CREEPY. Although I had a few questions and Lana-worship is never appreciated, I think I've liked this episode the most this season... Hard to say.

It was weird they didn't mention Lex Luthor. You'd think he'd be even bigger than the piddling love interests in Clark's life. Um... the Big Bad? The DUDE. Sheesh. Unless he and Clark make up and have sex pretty soon, in which case he would be known for a whole different reason!

This is definitely up there with the best episodes this year. Although I can't remember much of the pre-hiatus stuff so I have no idea what my favourite it.

I remember liking the first one a lot. It made me cry actual tears of joy at the end.

I was totally irritated at the Lana gushing. I know I should be used to it after 7 seasons but still - Grrr. And Evil!Chloe was awesome - I've always liked Alison Mack (Chloe is *so* much more interesting than Lana) but she really did an awesome job last night. If it most likely didn't mean that she would end up dead I'd love to see more of her bad self.

Really, that could just have easily been Lois they were gushing over, and it should have been. No one, not even major comic fans, care about Lana especially.

As far as the Doomsday stuff being pointless goes... gives the writers an easy out if the network/show can't get Tom to sign on for S9. Just saying that from a finale standpoint it's sorta convenient, because everybody knows he obviously doesn't stay dead, but it's as good a place as any to slam the door shut on Smallville.

What is with the Lana fangirling? Seriously? If I at least understood the 'why' behind it it probably would have bugged less. Would have bugged less if I had been more awake, too, I'm sure. It was nearly 3 am when it finished downloading.

This is the most random statement ever but this ep made me so glad Kara was gone, because the actress was the actress that played Imra's older sister on Instant Star (see icon, back when Alexz had red hair in S1 of that show). I'm greatly amused, on the other hand, that all three members of the Legion were Canadian actors. As someone who lives within a few hours of the filming locations it does tend to add another level of amusement when I know these people on site that non-Canadians wouldn't, you know, on top of locations. It's hard to make your brain not go "HEY! I know where that is!!!"

My best friend's boyfriend when we blasted through S1 after Christmas was hilarious. Forever grabbing the remote and pausing to make sure it was where he thought it was. He'd recognize the most random places. He does live more in 'Smallville' territory than 'Metropolis' though, and I spend more time in Metropolis when I'm on the mainland.

Um... something about searching for other Kryptonians, I do believe.

Yeah, I have yet to intentionally go anywhere. Just sort of happen to meander by on travels to other places. It's still fun, though. There are definitely other shows that I'd love to see places from that are not likely to ever happen, so I know how you feel.

LOL... I know, hey? I just like Laura from other things I've seen her in, and I do think the writers last year sort of didn't have a clue WHY they brought Kara on. All that hype over the summer for what we got was sorta pointless.

Yeah, that's pretty much my take on it, too. Sigh. At least S8 thus far seems much more focused... amazing what a new creative team helming things AND the show's martyr being gone can do for things. Never fails to make the show in question better as far as I've seen.
