Greetings from Chi!
I am currently trying to figure out American keyboards. Everything is in the wrong place! Well, apart from the letters, but making emoticons is hard ;)
So, I am here! Very smooth and painless trip. Got through security at both ends with no bother and the plane even got in 20 minutes early. Only wait I had was for the shuttle to the airport.
It's weirdly warm here. I was expecting coldness and weather like England but it was 24c when we landed (77f I think). Good thing I packed for all weathers as advised by![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)

Today we are sightseeing. Off to a pancake place for breakfast and then a boat tour and millenium park.
Time for my embarassing confession: The only reason I'm excited about seeing The Bean is because in my big bang fic from last year Jared, Jensen, Misha, Tom and Michael visit Chicago and Misha twitpics silly photos of himself reflected in The Bean.
Yeah, I am a loser ;)
Con starts tomorrow. Arrived to the news that on Sunday the Misha meet and greet is at 9:45am. They really expect me to be awake and able to handle Misha at that time? Especially when there's a con party the night before :-s
And then the Misha photo ops are pretty much last when I'll be tired and looking crap. Creation, you fail.
Jared and Misha aren't doing seperate panels, just a joint one together. I think it will be awesome (O HAI SASSY) but I'm kind of sad as Misha's dynamic is so different when he's on stage with someone else.
Oh, well, at least there's the meet and greet and then he'll have a solo panel at A5 in a couple of weeks *g*
That about it so far. My camera is primed and ready to go!
ETA: OMG I totes forgot to flail about the AMAZING pizza we had last night. It was from a place called Giordano's thatkadiel_krieger recommended and it was HUGE! It looked more like a pie than a pizza. I took pics. I think most of us only managed one slice.
