I think I'm finally getting my head around the grant access and subscribe thing. At the moment I'm just granting access and subscribing to anyone who adds me but we'll see how it goes.
Well, that's not fun -- and, yeah, the subscribing/access does take some getting used to. I think, though, in the end, that's one of the best ways to handle it. The idea of being able to subscribe to a journal for fic or whatever but not have to grant them access to my personal stuff is a nice one; there are journals on LJ that I haven't added to my list because I don't want to give that access.
