Is there a way that I can set this up so that my comments and whatnot are e mailed to me but don't appear in my DW inbox? I know I have it set up that way on LJ.

It'll be interesting to see if anyone friends me on here who doesn't know me on LJ. Is there any here now actually? I've just assumed everyone who has added me (must get out of the habit of saying 'friended') on here has come via LJ

And, look, I have other icons at last! Thanks to kelene for sorting me out

Go here. The options are the same as LJ. Tick the ones with asterisks.

If you keep everything in that first block ticked you should be fine. I've been getting all of my notices. :D

but it just looks like it removes the mail option.
but its still sending the notifications to my gmail, but the inbox is now clean :D

i think, the usual way is, on LJ, that we make new friends to the communities, and since most coms here are not set up yet, lol, probably the only friends we are going to have, are those we took with us, or know from LJ , for now anyway :D
