I did not expect Weaver to turn out to be anti-Skynet. And John Henry is going to be working to take it down! And Cameron gave him her chip for unknown reasons!
God, if this show gets cancelled now I will wail a lot!!!

T-TSCC -season finale
SPOILERS for anyone who hasn't seen the last few eps.

I had been wondering about her possibly wanting to not have JUDGMENT DAY when she was so insistent on John Henry learning morals and things about human feelings from Ellison but i didn't get beyond finding it strange and wondering what she was really up to. I didn't think she could be on the side of good with all the humans she was killing. Then, when the few survivors of that plant turned out to be bad guys and appeared to be already building some of the future weapons of Skynet, i wondered if maybe she hadn't killed them because they WERE working on the side of SKYNET.
Now, i have to go back and watch all the previous episodes to see if there were more clues that i didn't ignore.
I had thought there might be someone from the future who could come back somehow and save Derek by telling them not to go there bu I never expected John to go into the future - it's a wild idea with so much potential for story -Just the moment he ssees Derek alive and THEN meets his father for the first time - i could hardly breath!! And then we see the human Cameron and I suddenly grasped that he was there BEFORE any of them knew the great John Connor -he can finally be in a situation where everyone isn't trying -and dying- to save him. The story possibilities are incredible- plus, what is going on back in the present with his Mom and Ellison and the police who are still after her. In the next season, i hope they spend a LONG time in the future but keep us up to date on the present.
There has to be another season, don't you think? I was wondering if the next season will be dependent on how the movie does this summer. If so, I'll go see it over and over - ignoring Bale's on set behavior for a good cause.
