Well, that's just typical, I moan about how Supernatural isn't like it used to be and we get an episode that EXACTLY like how it used to be! LOL!

I loved this! It was scary, there was a twist and it advanced the plot a little. Nothing more I could ask from an epiosde really. I loved it!

Hee! Supergirl is all old and a mommy!

This episode reminded me a little of The Benders from Season 1. Excellent!

And even though I hate all the Angels/Demons nonsense I did miss Cass quite a lot. Yes, there's no pleasing me. LOL!

I loved how, after a couple of seasons of big bad supernatural types, the most confusing monsters always end up being the human ones (also another call-out to The Benders).

Yup! It was brilliantly twisted and sinister.

I loved this episode! It was one of the few ones that actually had me looking over my shoulder like I did in the episode that I never type (or say the title of, especially not three times)

OMG! That episode that you never mention freaked me the hell out! So did provenance. It reminded me of both of those. Must be something about scary girls. LOL!

I did like this one a lot.

I liked it too, but the majority of the fandom seems to hate it. Yes, it's flawed and full of plotholes, but it still gripped me.

Ah, I thought I'd heard of Helen Slater.

I seem destined to hate the episodes the rest of fandom loves and vice versa. Ah well.

[identity profile] bogwitch.livejournal.com 2009-01-17 12:17 am (UTC)(link)
I certainly need more data to back it up, but it does also seem to be split down a Brits/Americans divde. Hmm.

[identity profile] hils.livejournal.com 2009-01-17 12:20 am (UTC)(link)
Hehe! I'd be interested to see the stats ;)

[identity profile] bogwitch.livejournal.com 2009-01-17 12:22 am (UTC)(link)
Well, the only three people I've seen that liked it are all British.

[identity profile] hils.livejournal.com 2009-01-17 12:45 am (UTC)(link)
Well, that certainly says something

It was lovely to see the boys again in something new, but I wasn't all that impressed...still, not nearly as bad as Wendigo!

[identity profile] hils.livejournal.com 2009-01-17 02:02 am (UTC)(link)
What's wrong with Wendigo? I liked it!

[identity profile] rockgoddes.livejournal.com 2009-01-17 02:07 am (UTC)(link)
The Wendigo itself was SUCH a let-down that it ruined the entire show for me; it's the one episode I always skip when I re-watch that season.

Last night's will be the one I skip when I re-watch this season. :o)

[identity profile] hils.livejournal.com 2009-01-17 02:08 am (UTC)(link)
Hee! I thought last nights was the best on this season

Don't you love fandom and all the differing opinions *g*

[identity profile] rockgoddes.livejournal.com 2009-01-17 02:09 am (UTC)(link)
Yep, it's always interesting!

[identity profile] padfoot-uk.livejournal.com 2009-01-17 03:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Why do you hate the demons/angels nonsense? Nothing's really been expanded on yet, so what's to hate?

[identity profile] hils.livejournal.com 2009-01-17 04:01 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't know. It feels less like Supernatural and more like a theology lesson. I miss the days when there was all different kinds of mystical things for them to fight.

[identity profile] padfoot-uk.livejournal.com 2009-01-17 04:05 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm quite looking forward to seeing where it goes.

:)

Heeh, it's pretty much the opposite for me. I liked how the show progressed from the smaller plots every week to the bigger story line, which is why I didn't like this episode as much as I liked previous episodes. I just felt as if the whole story was just a way to fill up the episode between the first and the last scene. (Though I did like the fact that the girl wasn't just a ghost)
They should be going on more about the angels, demons, the apocalypse and the breaking off the seals. They set that up in the beginning of the season and are not doing much with it if you ask me.
And also, as much as I enjoy the scenes about Dean telling about his time in Hell (they break my heart), there should be more about Sam, his powers, whatever.
Anyway, it was good to see the boys again and I did enjoy the episode but I hope there will be more on the apocalypse soon. I want Lillith back! lol
