New shows

Ok, so I may have lied about not missing my shows and am rather looking forward to Smallville which I will watch very shortly

It's funny but when S7 of Smallville was on I always made a point of watching Supernatural first so that my Smallville rage wouldn't interfere with my enjoyment on it. This year I'm so disappointed with Supernatural that Smallville comes first.

It's a strange world we live in.

I just think it's lost the plot. It's not like it used to be, and there's been way too many 'comedy' episodes this year

For some reason I really love this SPN season. It's funny and fluffy - mostly - and definitely not as bang-your-head-against-a-wall-ish as SV season 4 (stones of gay and witches???), while season 8 of SV... I don't know, but I guess I lost track. Good, I haven't watched any episode of season 8 without having alcohol in my system which might be the reason why I think this season makes even less sense than those before, but...

Even the silliest, totally sense-free SPN-episode is still more enjoyable than seeing another "Lana is a martyr" moment. ;P

But that's the joy of season 8. THERE IS NO LANA! Apart from a couple of episodes. LOL!

SPN is not supposed to be fluffy and funny. Not in my head anyway. I started watching it because it was scary.

Hee. Personally loving this season. They're pulling off that awesome retroactive angst thing that they haven't pulled since season 2.

But I know you're not alone, though; people either really love or really don't love this season of Supernatural. Kinda funny how my show inspires such strong reactions. :)
