I already have Fingersmith and Tipping the Velvet on my Amazon wishlist. I read Memoirs of a Geisha last year and We Need to Talk About Kevin the year before that. Clearly we have very similar tastes \0/

Forgot to add 'anything by Ian McEwan', though especially Amsterdam and Atonement. And you might also enjoy Notes on a Scandal by Zoe Heller and The Bitch Goddess Notebook (Can't remember who wrote it)
