Orchids. All men like orchids - for obvious reasons. *nods*

Though, then again I wouldn't be surprised if he liked purple pansies. *lol*

AHAHA!

I would say roses if anything but I don't really see him as a flower person.

You could be right...

My immediate reaction were white lilies. Perhaps because he'd like the irony of something that pure and untainted near him - something he can never truly feel?

I agree!

Lilies indeed for the very same reason, not to mention how close the flower is in name to his mother. Lex is a man of association if anything. :)

Thanks!

Lily. Reminds him of his mother. Hence why he was placing white lilies on her grave. There's also all those death associations with lilies and you know Lex, deep down he's all about the gloom! :p

Extra question - what does Lex eat for breakfast?

My boyfriend asked me this the other day (don't ask why) and I couldn't come up with a satisfactory answer. It's been preying on my mind ever since!

Maybe he skips breakfast. We've seen him drink orange juice a few times. Maybe that's his breakfast

That's what I said! And yes, I'm sure I've seen him with OJ too. But then Dave (my guy) said 'nah, I bet he has a proper routine involving excerise and food carefully calculated to provide the maximum amount of energy or something.'

And that sounded so very like 'I'm a scientist at heart' Lex it floored me :p

Hah! That might be true of Comic!Lex but SV!Lex strikes me as the sort who would forget to look after himself unless someone reminded him.

I'm late to the party, but I was going to say Lily as well. Although I hope not, because I'm allergic to them. LOL

What if his favorite flower was something silly and random, not something from a hot house or florist.

Something like forget me nots or daisies or carnations. Or something that has some sort of significance in the language of flowers. I read a cute little fic where Lex got into the meaning of flowers. I could see him doing something like that if the motivation was there.

[identity profile] hils.livejournal.com 2008-12-17 09:45 am (UTC)(link)
Hehe! Well, this is going to be a gift from Clark
