My immediate reaction were white lilies. Perhaps because he'd like the irony of something that pure and untainted near him - something he can never truly feel?
Lily. Reminds him of his mother. Hence why he was placing white lilies on her grave. There's also all those death associations with lilies and you know Lex, deep down he's all about the gloom! :p
That's what I said! And yes, I'm sure I've seen him with OJ too. But then Dave (my guy) said 'nah, I bet he has a proper routine involving excerise and food carefully calculated to provide the maximum amount of energy or something.'
And that sounded so very like 'I'm a scientist at heart' Lex it floored me :p
What if his favorite flower was something silly and random, not something from a hot house or florist.
Something like forget me nots or daisies or carnations. Or something that has some sort of significance in the language of flowers. I read a cute little fic where Lex got into the meaning of flowers. I could see him doing something like that if the motivation was there.

Though, then again I wouldn't be surprised if he liked purple pansies. *lol*

My boyfriend asked me this the other day (don't ask why) and I couldn't come up with a satisfactory answer. It's been preying on my mind ever since!
