Smallville

I have decided I am a lost cause. Seriously. This episode had such a lame and totally contrived plot whose purpose just seemed to be to convince the Chlark shipppers that it's never going to happen.

Yet I still got all teary when Lois said she loved Clark

AND

I got all gleeful when Clark said 'Statistically it's the safer way to travel'

So, really, all you need to do is toss a bit of Clois or Superman movie canon in there and I will ignore all the bad stuff and be happy

I need a Clois icon still. I just haven't seen one I like yet.

Oh, and did Oliver and Tess do it in Lex's bed? They totally did.

If you think about it though this is the het version of what Clex would be like. LOL!

Is it in Justin's contract that he must have his shirt off once per episode?

It's not the falling in love with Clark before she discovers he's Superman that bothers me. That's fine, and fits in various incarnations of the comics. However, it's the falling in love with Clark before she's fallen in love with Superman that would bug me. I really do think they'll pull a switch, and turn their relationship on it's head.

He won't wind up with Kara as things stand now, my point was for the post-Smallville future for these characters. I see it all in the long game ;)

I loved it, and hated it too. I think Ollie's feeling a little emotionally vulnerable right now. His history has come back to haunt him, both his time on the island, and his parent's death. The idea that Clark, the bastion of moral position could betray him, by holding information back must hurt. Then to see the woman he loves (he's not realised his feelings for Dinah yet obviously), marrying Clark... it got to him. Poor woobie.
