I have decided I am a lost cause. Seriously. This episode had such a lame and totally contrived plot whose purpose just seemed to be to convince the Chlark shipppers that it's never going to happen.
Yet I still got all teary when Lois said she loved Clark
AND
I got all gleeful when Clark said 'Statistically it's the safer way to travel'
So, really, all you need to do is toss a bit of Clois or Superman movie canon in there and I will ignore all the bad stuff and be happy
I need a Clois icon still. I just haven't seen one I like yet.
Oh, and did Oliver and Tess do it in Lex's bed? They totally did.
If you think about it though this is the het version of what Clex would be like. LOL!
Is it in Justin's contract that he must have his shirt off once per episode?

There's sort of a basic nod to canon on the show, but it's really more like an Elseworlds story so anything could happen.
Differences - Shelby isn't a superdog named Krypto
Ma Kent is in government
Lana is a brunette
Lionel Luthor is... well was, a part of the story
Clark wasn't hired by Perry White
Smallville is fifteen minutes from Metropolis, and getting closer all the time
Pete Ross moved out of Smallville
Kryptonite gives humans superpowers (that's a big one)
Mr. Myxlplyk is Russian (I'll never forgive them for that one)
Brainiac is hot :)
Clark works for the Daily Planet, but he can't even fly :)
