Wasn't this broadcast on MTV Movie Awards together with the viral video for Tropic Thunder (which these guys are together in)?

Hehe! Yeah, I've seen the viral video (a lot! LOL) but not this. It's...strange. I kept expecting it to turn into something funny but apart from Jack Black losing his trousers all they do is sing and dance. Weird!

It wasn't really random. On the American Idol finale, Seacrest announced it as "lost footage" of the auditions to be Gladys Knight's Pips.

And like rockgoddes, I thought it was hilarious.

It was a spoofy filler bit of the American Idol finale results show that was almost as funny as the bit with the shaving cream (Mike Myers)which I have attempted to embed below... It was also Hobbitmum's favourite. She likes Jack Black.
