The only think I can think of for this is a) Lex's conscience rising from the ashes as a more calculating figure to manipulate him into doing what she wants (redheaded woman this time) or b) rewriting the Clex scene so that Lil Alex aggravates Lex into talking to him in front of Clark! Ash says that Clark will zip him off to Belle Reve o.O
