Ros has unleashed a monster. LOL!

York Minster was bloody cold again tonight and it makes it really hard to enjoy a concert when you can't feel your legs. The one saving grace was that there was this really cute guy sat a few seats down from me. He was by himself and read Peeling the Onion during the interval. Anyone know this book?

We made eye contact a few times and I really thought he was going to talk to me at one point but he didn't. I know I should have said something but I is a sissy.

Ah, the world of missed opportunities.

When I got home I found someone outside using our wireless connection. I kept thinking I should passwork protect it but I don't know how. Yes, I know I work in IT but I don't deal with network stuff :-P If anyone has an idiots guide to this I would be grateful.

The Netgear site says you just need to change the settings on the router, which should be easy.

If I could SEE the router on your computer at all.

You should be able to log-in to the router via it's IP address, it'll be written on the router somewhere, probably underneath.

How'd you know they were pinching from your network??

Because as soon as he saw me he slammed his laptop shut and hurried inside. He was sat right outside my window

You usually go to the IP address of the router and there'll be a control page where you set up a pass phrase and it'll create encryption keys from the phrase.

Should be in the instructions to your router.

Yeah, I found it and set a password. All good. Thanks!
