Sunday 6th January
It's been a nice, relaxing day today but the jet lag is still kicking the hell out of me. I just feel tired all the time but I'm managing to ignore it.

We all went out to breakfast this morning. Pancake ftw! After that we drove into the mountains so I could take some pictures. The view was amazing!

After that we went to Wal-Mart. I was looking for a case for my ipod and maybe some DS games or DVDs. Failed on all counts. Ah well. We have more shops to try later. I did buy some Animal Crackers and Captain Crunch though. Fandom food also ftw!

We then had a nice, quiet afternoon swapping music, vids and pictures. We had dinner and then Lexi and I played Sims together. Tomorrow we're going to see Sweeny Todd. WHEE!

Monday 7th January
Although I woke up at dawn this morning I managed to get back to sleep again and I slept in. I was up until a reasonable time last night so it looks like I'm getting over the jet lag at last.

Today has been a fandom day, even though I didn't buy any of the things I was looking for. I was going to get a case for my ipod but Lexi says she has a Superman one which she thinks will fit. I was also going to get a new game for my DS but I couldn't find anything I wanted.

What I did buy was a Superman hoodie and a Batman t-shirt. Just as I was paying for them Lexi found a Superman keyring so I had to have that too. I also bought the cutest Superman toy. He has big chibi eyes. I so need a Lex to go with him. They had a Batman too which I might go back and buy if I have enough money left at the end of the week.

We saw Sweeny Todd and it was brilliant. Really gory but in that Burton style which I really love.

We spent the evening watching more JLA cartoons. The first movie made me totally fall in love with Batman. The episodes were great too, especially the one where they all turned into kids. There was even some implied Clex in a two part episode where Lex finds out he's dying. Mark Hamill as The Joker was brilliantly disturbing.
