First time in El Paso by daylight. It's so warm here! I took my coat off after 5 minutes of being outside. In January! I love it. LOL. I'm not looking forward to the cold, grey and darkness of home.

We went for lunch and I had briskit because pepperjackcandy recommended it. OMG!Yum! I scoffed the lot and had a corn muffin which was equally yummy!

We went shopping and I was highly amused by a shop called Izod. LOL. Didn't buy anything...until we went to the comic store. Hehe! I was good and only bought one Superman book, which was in the sale and cost me less than $5

This afternoon we watched the Smallville bloopers, which I had never seen before. Yes, I am a bad Smallville fangirl. It was wonderful! I now, officially, want to marry Tom and have his babies. He is so damn cute!

Michael was his usual goofy self. I love him.

After that we watched the deleted sex scene from Urban Legend and final the Pilot of the US version of Queer as Folk. It was pretty much the same as ours, but I will say that Brian is much hotter than Stuart. Other than that I maintain that our version is better.

Plan is to watch Rave Macbeth tonight. Yum!

I'm doing better now. Had the week from hell at work. Finally finished chapter 1 of As You Wish but not sure if I'll post it now or wait until the whole thing is completed. Watched the Kal El episode of Smallville *THUD!* All that hotness. GUH!

I have both the UK and Canadian (filmed in Toronto, so I don't say US) versions of QasF, and I prefer the Canadian. I think because it ran so much longer there's more character development. And, of course, Brian.

Well, I'm not going to give up on it just yet. I imagine it'll get better once it moves away from being a copy of the UK version and becomes its own thing.

Although I hear Brian and Justin end up in the end which is wrong. It's Stuart and Vince therefore Brian and Michael ;)

I haven't watched any of the UK version of Queer as Folk yet because I discovered the US version first, and ever since, I've been a bit reluctant to watch UK episodes. I can't really explain why, maybe it's because the two series are so different from each other despite being about the same subject, and I've fallen in love with so many characters from the US version. But if you say the UK version is definitely better, I guess I might just have to give it a try. :D

Well, I hold it close to my heart because our version came first and the US version, at first at least, is just a direct copy of ours. Maybe the US version will get better later
