but sadly did not migrate to DW I've also lost some friends from LJ because they didn't come over to DW. :( And I think many moved on from the journals entirely. I mean, I was gone for several years, too, and have come back now. ^_^
I've been enjoying some of Cho Seunyeong/WOODZ's songs recently, they often have a really good, driving beat, which I always love. I'm pretty sure I heard from him through some Wang Yibo fans who were like, "He was in a bad place but he came back from it sooo good!" and I was like, "Yep, that song is a banger."
BTS, unfortunately like Supernatural, has a very toxic fanbase. I don't mind their music but I steer clear of any sort of fandom involvement I've got no idea about that fandom, except for the very few things my friend tells me. She has been having some problems because so many fans are very young - no one was weird to her, but just the difference in life experience. XD She participated in a fic exchange that used songs and she got paired with a really young girl who wanted a fic for her current fav love song, and my friend read the lyrics and was like, "... this is not even remotely romantic wtf!" XD But since it's a huge fandom I can easily imagine that shit will get serious quickly, shipping wars etc. And it might be even worse because it's RPF, so they might also fight about how "real" the characters in the fics are etc.
And well, I've heard some about how extreme Asian fans can be, too (like the whole XZ drama where I can only shake my head and wonder if these people don't have other problems than fighting about that, dragging actual real people into their mess...). (*/ω＼*)
