Like you, I made my first ever trip abroad to visit a fan friend (My mum: 'But you have never met this person! How can you just visit her for two weeks?')
My parents were weirdly chill about me flying to the US and Canada by myself to meet a bunch of people I'd never met in person before.

I also wouldn't have all my various computer skills.

I was very fond of Smallville's first 3 seasons but once it became clear that Clark was never going to tell Lex
I dropped it in season 6 when it became clear we were not going to get a nuanced journey in to villainhood for Lex. He was evil when they felt like it with zero explanation. I came back for the end though and it wasn't great.

Followed Supernatural for 2 seasons but it got weirdly to... Christian for me
Yeah, I totally get that. I do miss the days when they would pull from folklore and urban legends. But I also have a degree in Theology so I found the angels and demons stuff really interesting too. Not enough to stick with it though, and from what I hear that was probably a good thing.

Now we have Guardian and Untamed in common. Nice to meet you!
