On writing
For those not following me on Twitter yesterday I made the fatal error of reading over all of my
rpf_big_bang. I almost wanted to cry because it's really not good. It doesn't flow very well at all and I think it's probably missing a lot of much needed description.
Today I felt better. I had to remind myself that this is only the first draft. My first drafts are never good and very rarely represent what the final product will look like. At this stage it's just about getting words down on the page and I've already made several editing notes for when I get done.
It did cheer me up to see that on July 1st there was a check-in at the comm and I'd only written 1600 words. As of today I am on 12700 so that's pretty good going in less than a month I think.
So I shall press on and hope I can turn it into something readable by posting day
