I've just seen an ace IT job within my current company working at the DVLA in Swansea. Can't apply for it at the moment but it's the incentive I need to get my CV sorted out and get these training courses done.

Yup, but I'm probably going to have to anyway. So far the closest job to York I've seen is Manchester

I know, but I've lived here for 10 years. A change might be nice. I won't be moving if I don't have to, but I think I'll have to.
