Fic rec
The problem I have with a lot of the J2 fics I've read is that they are what I would call out of character. I realise that makes no sense since it's RPS so they're not really characters but you know what I mean? There's a lot of stuff that has the boys crying all the time and acting like teenage girls.
Anyway, I finally found one that I liked. It's dark, but amazingly well written and all the characters featured actually feel like real people

jacqui_hw and I haven't done anything silly and fun together for ages we made cakes last night. Suddenly I learned what it's like to be around me when I have my camera. LOL!
I also learned that bandom is a strange place. Stranger than most I mean. I kind of want to read the fic where one of Panic at the Disco gets turned into a pair of hair straigteners ;)

The meetup went really well! So much better than I'd expected! I've never organised anything like this before so I was a bit worried that either no one would turn up or people wouldn't get along or we'd have nothing to say.
Total opposite of any of that. We all got along so well we all ended up going out for dinner together. We chatted about every fandom under the sun, sex, embarassing stories, everything. It was like we all knew each other already, even though only two of the people there were actually from my flist.
I'm so happy it went well. I will be organising another one probably in June as I don't have any free weekends in May

Plus I got some more of my Colin/Bradley done while I was waiting for people to arrive. They're so close to the porn now I can feel their sexual tension. LOL!
