I need a chill pill

I should hear about the job today or tomorrow so of course I'm working myself up into a panic. I am fully aware that there is no point. The decision has already been made, but damn I want to know

Still, I shall be spending a pleasant few hours with just_sue today so hopefully that will take my mind off things. Greg has promised to let me know as soon as he hears anything

Back!

Had a lovely time with just_sue. We had a yummy picnice, chatted about fandom and other things and then went for a nice walk. Gyp is such a cute doggy. He spent most of the picnic lying down next to me with his head on my lap. Very well behaved. He didn't beg for food or try and eat any of it.

Chapter 7 of Press-Ganged turned out to be a lot shorter than I imagined so I'm going to merge it with what would have been Chapter 8 and make Chapter 7 the last one

So I'm afraid people will have to wait a while longer for more of this fic, since I haven't even started Chapter 8 yet. LOL
