Oh, LJ, how I missed you. I'm glad I have GJ as a backup at least because it meant I could post about Harry Potter last night before I forgot all the stuff I wanted to say

First of all though, there was a trailer for Transformers before the film and I was literally bouncing up and down in my seat with glee. And this is AFTER I've seen the film. Seriously, I can't remember the last time I got so excited about a film and never in my life did I imagine it would be a film about cars that turn into giant robots. LOL.

Saw a trailer for Stardust too, which looks good. Must read the book again before the film comes out.

Right, onto Harry Potter. I have to say that I viewed this film very differently than I imaigine I would have if I'd seen it before I read Deathly Hallows. Scenes moved me that I probably wouldn't have thought twice about if I'd seen the film before I read the book

Well, our deposit and reference forms are with the Estate Agent. I reckon we'll be able to pick up the keys in about a week. Then I just need to sort out a date for my dad to come and help me move and that will be it. WHEE!!

Saw Prizoner of Azkaban last night. Hils liked!!!

I've managed to catch a cold from [ profile] jazz_police so I'm feeling pretty crappy at the moment. Meh

Anyway, here are my thoughts on HP. Just to warn you, I make reference to some of the plot in Book 5, including a major spoiler for those who haven't read it.

Sorry to harp on about this but there's one minor gripe about the HP book that I need to get off my chest before I go to bed

Hmm.. )

Well, I've just finished reading Harry Potter and The Order Of The Phoenix.

Forgot to mention the two best scenes in the film

1. The duel between Lockhart and Snape. Alan Rickman and Kenneth Bragnah must have had such a blast doing that. You could tell just by watching them

2. The Quidditch match. Much smoother and less CGI obvious than the first, plus we got to see Draco and Harry battling for the snitch. Very cool!

Great casting with Bragnah, I can't see who they cast in the next one as the young marauders, and the older ones too. I want to see who plays Sirius and Remus.

Oh, and back onto Buffy for a moment. I've finally made a start on my pirate story and after that I've finally decided to go ahead and attempt a slash fic. The pairing? Spike/Xander/Angel. May as well go the whole hog and have them all involved. Heh

Just got back from seeing Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Oh my god it was SO good. WAY better than the first one. The over acting which was my main gripe about the first one seems to have been all but fixed and they managed to include all the good parts of the book without cutting out anything vital.

On a slightly more hormonal scale, Lucious Malfoy is SO fine. Damn, I really am going for the bad boys these days. Give Draco a few more years and he'll be serious eye candy too.

Well, that's all I have to say. Two thumbs up for Harry Potter....and now I feel the urge to write some fanfic.
